Corn (one 154g serving) contains 30 grams of carbohydrate and very little no fat.
Some of that carbohydrate (5g) is fiber which means that corn has pretty much no fat and a moderate amount of carbs.
It has 5 grams of protein in a whole serving and tons of nutrients. If there was ever a food to lose weight with, this would rank in the middle!
It's almost like eating corn is eating nothing but fiber and water (and some starch), both of which have no calories so it's a food that delivers pure nutrition with little effect on weight.
You would need to eat about 20 cups per day to maintain your body weight so technically I guess it's possible to gain weight with corn if you were to eat 40+ cups/day, everyday, but good luck with that feat.
Eat and be healthy.
