Carrots (one 100g serving) contains 10 grams of carbohydrate and almost no fat.
Much of that carbohydrate (3g) is fiber which means that carrots have pretty much no fat and little to no carbs.
They have 1 gram of protein in a whole serving and tons of nutrients. If there was ever a food to lose weight with, it would be this one!
It's almost like eating carrots is eating nothing but fiber and water, both of which have no calories so it's a food that delivers pure nutrition with no effect on weight.
You would need to eat about 80 cups per day to maintain your body weight so technically I guess it's possible to gain weight with carrots if you were to eat 120+ cups/day, everyday, but good luck with that feat.
Eat and be healthy.
