Broccoli (one 91g serving) contains 6 grams of carbohydrate and almost no fat.
Much of that carbohydrate (2.4g) is fiber which means that broccoli has pretty much no fat and little to no carbs.
It has 2 grams of protein in a whole serving and tons of nutrients. If there was ever a food to lose weight with, it would be this one!
It's almost like eating broccoli is eating nothing but fiber and water, both of which have no calories so it's a food that delivers pure nutrition with no effect on weight.
You would need to eat about 60 cups per day to maintain your body weight so technically I guess it's possible to gain weight with broccoli if you were to eat 75+ cups/day, everyday, but good luck with that feat.
