Beets (one 136g serving) contain 9g of Carbohydrate and no fat.
Much of that carbohydrate (3.7g) is fiber which means that beet greens have no fat and little carbs.
They have 2 grams of protein in a whole cup and tons of nutrients. If there was ever a food to lose weight with it was this one.
It's almost like eating fiber and water, both of which have no calories so it's a food that delivers pure nutrition with no effect on weight.
You would need to eat about 40 cups per day to maintain your body weight so technically I guess it's possibe to gain weight with beet greens if you were to eat 50+ cups/day, everyday, but good luck with that feat.
