Beet greens (one 100g serving) contain 4g of Carbohydrate and so it is considered a Keto food.
But here's the kicker; most of that carbohydrate (3.7g) is fiber which means that a whole cup has less than a gram of carbs in it.
I don't care what diet you're on, in my book that counts as a zero-carb food which means you can eat as many of them as you like and not worry about it.
Beet greens have almost no fat and a small amount of protien which means when you eat them you'll basically have almost no insulin increase.
Controlling insulin is key when it comes to the Keto diet and adding in beet greens ensures that you are as safe as can be with that food group.
Eat and be healthy.
